Biography

Nevena Savić is research assistant at the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” – National Institute of Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade. She is a promising PhD student of Molecular Biology, module Animal and Human Physiology at Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade since October 2021. Nevena is awarded for the best master work 2022 by the “Ivan Djaja” foundation. So far, she has published 4 papers in international peer-reviewed journals in the research area. The research interest of Nevena Savić is ferroptosis as an underling mechanism of diabetes pathophysiology and a potential target to treat diabetic conditions.
